First Steps of Learning Preschool
Welcome
First Steps of Learning Preschool / Camp Seminole welcomes all families to our early education program. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where every child can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
We maintain high academic and behavioral standards to ensure all children thrive in a positive learning atmosphere free from unnecessary disruptions.
Program Hours
- Facility Hours: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- VPK Program: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- School Year: August – June
- Summer Program: July – August
A minimum two-week written notice and payment is required for student disenrollment.

Program Structure & Licensing
First Steps of Learning is a private preschool and childcare facility operating in full compliance with:
- Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF)
- Community Coordinated Care for Children (4C)
- Early Learning Coalition of Seminole
- Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK)
All parents and students must follow school policies and procedures as a condition of enrollment.

First Steps of Learning takes privacy seriously.
Confidential information about children, families, and staff is only shared with authorized personnel on a “need-to-know” basis for safety and care purposes.
Confidential information includes:
- Personal contact information
- Medical records
- Disability information
- Family details
Parents must also respect confidentiality. Sharing private information or discussing other children/families, including on social media, is a violation of policy.
Child Records & Enrollment Requirements
Before enrollment, families must provide:
- Completed registration paperwork
- Parent agreement form
- Current physical exam records
- Immunization records
- Emergency contacts
- Authorized pickup information
- Parent identification
Records must be kept current at all times.
